Member Highlight – 2023 Annual Conference – Land Title Association of Mississippi

On May 18th and 19th, real estate title professionals will converge on Flowood, Mississippi, to strengthen their relationships, learn about industry trends, exchange ideas, and set goals for the coming year. President Danny Crotwell will kick off the LTAMS Annual Conference with a review of the association’s accomplishments to date.

Stephen Reck, Agency Manager for Mississippi and Alabama with Fidelity National Title Group, serves as Chair of the Conference Committee, and is pleased to welcome members to The Sheraton – The Refuge Hotel & Conference Center for the event. “LTAMS and the Conference Committee are putting in a lot of effort to make it both exciting and informative,” he says. “With LTAMS membership numbers continuing to rise, the annual conference offers Mississippi title agents a valuable opportunity to network with one another and gain fresh insights into our industry. We’re honored to announce that Lt. Gov. Delbert Hosemann will be delivering the keynote speech . . . . As a practical matter, the conference will offer members the opportunity to earn up to 9 hours of Continuing Legal Education, including one hour of ethics. Topics will range from survey history to underwriter panel insights to legislative updates to medical marijuana location restrictions and more. More than a dozen exhibitors will be on hand with services and products that will make your life easier. LTAMS is not “all work and no play,” though, so the final day will wrap up on The Refuge Golf Course or at a Paint & Sip event with Artist Emily Hildebrande. Along the way, participants will enjoy BBQ and comfort food buffets and a much-needed cocktail break.
