Kenneth D. Farmer

Kenneth “Ken” Farmer is the Area Commercial Manager and Special Commercial Counsel for
Fidelity National Financials’ ALMA Agency Group serving agents in the states of Alabama,
Mississippi, Louisiana, and Arkansas. He is client-focused, extremely knowledgeable, and has a
tremendous passion for the title industry. 
 
Ken is a founding member of the Land Title Association of Mississippi and currently serves as
its Executive Director.  Ken previously held the position of Regional Underwriting Counsel for
First American Title Insurance Company in AL, MS, LA, AR, and TN. He has over 15 years of
experience in residential and commercial real estate. Prior to becoming an underwriter, Ken
practiced in the area of commercial real estate, representing real estate developer clients in the
sale and leasing of retail and office properties at firms in Mississippi and Florida. Ken served in
the United States Army as a Signals Intelligence Analyst and the United States Air Force
Reserves as a Communications and Navigation Technician. He has served as Chair of the Real
Property and Business Sections for the Mississippi Bar; and on the Board of Trustees for
Leadership Greater Jackson. Ken was also selected as “Title Person of the Year” for the Land
Title Association of Mississippi in 2021; Mid-South Rising Stars, Super Lawyers (2013 & 2015);
Leadership in Law Award, Mississippi Business Journal (2014); and Pro Bono Distinguished
Service Award, Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project (2009). 
 
Ken received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Information Systems from The
University of Southern Mississippi; Master of Science in Real Estate from University of Florida;
and his Juris Doctor from University of Florida. He is a member of the State Bar of Mississippi
(active), and the State Bar of Florida (inactive).
