Level 1 eRecording enables a submitter to scan and upload an ink-signed document so that the Chancery Clerk can record an electronic image of the document.
Level 2 eRecording enables a submitter to scan and upload an ink-signed document or an electronic document electronically signed and notarized so that the Chancery Clerk can perform an electronic examination of the imaged document and indexing information and record an electronic image of the document and electronic indexing information.
Level 3 eRecording enables submitters to electronically prepare, execute, and submit documents to counties for recording.

Rule 1.2(k) defines “delivery agent” as a third party or entity other than the Trusted Submitter and the Chancery Clerk through whom Electronic Documents and/or recording fees are delivered to the office of a Chancery Clerk.
