Robert Schwartz serves as a managing partner of Schwartz, Orgler, & Jordan, PLLC, and oversees the firm’s Biloxi office. He was admitted to the Mississippi bar in 1996 and is licensed to practice in various state and federal courts in Mississippi, including the United States District Court (Southern and Northern Divisions), the Mississippi Supreme Court, the Mississippi Court of Appeals, as well as the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Robert has practiced law in Biloxi since graduating from the University of Mississippi.
Our attorneys also serve as title agents for Chicago Title Insurance Company, First American Title Insurance Company and The Security Guarantee Title Insurance Corporation of Baltimore, and handle both simple and complex real estate and commercial transactions as agents for these companies. Robert is an AV Preeminent® rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell®. Born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, in 1971, Robert graduated from North Forrest High School in 1989 and then attended the University of Southern Mississippi (USM), where he received a Bachelor of Accounting degree in 1993. While at USM, Robert was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. Following graduation from USM, Robert received his Juris doctorate degree from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) in 1996. While at Ole Miss, Robert was the Stephen Edward Lanius Scholarship recipient. He was also a member of the National Security Law Journal and served as a Moot Court Board Member.
Robert is a member of the Harrison County Bar Association, Mississippi, Bar Association, Real Estate Section of the Mississippi Bar and the American Bar Association. Robert is also a former member of the Harrison County Young Lawyers Association. Robert is active in the Biloxi community and serves on various committees and charitable organizations, including currently serving as counsel to the Walter Anderson Museum of Art in Ocean Springs. Robert is married to the former Nikki Hatten and resides in Biloxi with his wife and their daughter, Peyton Elizabeth Schwartz.
