Mason Wood was admitted to the Mississippi Bar in 2018 and is an associate with Caves & Caves PLLC. His practice is focused on real estate transactions and general civil litigation, including real estate litigation, business litigation, estate litigation, and family law. He is admitted to practice in all State and Federal courts in Mississippi, as well as the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Wood obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Mississippi in 2010 and his Master of Business Administration degree from The University of Mississippi in 2012. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from Mississippi College School of Law in 2018, where he graduated magna cum laude.

While in law school, Mr. Wood served as an Associate Editor for The Mississippi College Law Review, was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society, and was a Jurisprudence Scholarship recipient. Additionally, he served as a Research Assistant in the law school’s Legal Writing department and as a law clerk for Chief Judge L. Joseph Lee of the Mississippi Court of Appeals.

He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Jones County Bar Association, and the Jones County Young Lawyers Association.

A lifelong resident of Laurel, Mr. Wood is active in the community. Along with his wife and daughter, he is a member of First Baptist Church of Laurel. Mr. Wood is also a member of several local philanthropic organizations, including the Laurel Kiwanis Club.
