John R. Elliott, Jr. and his wife, Shannon, operate Elliott Law Firm, P.L.L.C. The majority of John’s practice focuses on real estate transactions. Also, John serves as one of the attorneys in the Rankin County Youth Court who represent abused/neglected children, as well as children accused of committing delinquent acts.

In the past, John served two terms as President of the Rankin County Bar Association (2011-2013) and served on the board of directors for the Mississippi Bar’s Young Lawyer Division (2006-2007). Each year from 2010 – 2015, John was named a “rising star” in the area of general litigation by Mid-South Super Lawyers.

John is a graduate of the University of Alabama (B.S. – 1997), Mississippi State University (M.B.A. – 1998), and Mississippi College School of Law (J. D. – 2001).
