David’s practice focuses primarily on commercial transactions and corporate law, including real estate development, property transactions, commercial lending, lease negotiations, real estate taxation, land use, zoning, intellectual property and real property litigation. David also assists his clients in the areas of general corporate and contract law, including business entity formation, trademarks, mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiations, and contract enforcement.

David is a member of the Mississippi Bar Association, the Real Estate Section of the Mississippi Bar, the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association, Jackson Young Lawyers, and the International Council of Shopping Centers. David previously served as a member of the Mississippi Next Generation Committee for the International Council of Shopping Centers, as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Tri-County Real Estate Attorney’s Association, and as a board member and Treasurer for the Central Mississippi Chapter of the Christian Legal Society. He is also a volunteer with the Mission First Legal Aid Office.

He has held an “AV” rating from Martindale-Hubbell for the past two years. David was also named as one of Super Lawyer’s Rising Stars for the Mid-South for 2013 and 2014.
