Mr. Palmertree is a member of the firm and has maintained an active and diverse practice primarily focused on commercial and business related matters since 2005. After graduating from the University of Mississippi School of Law, Mr. Palmertree began his practice in Jackson, Tennessee before moving to DeSoto County over ten years ago. He is licensed to practice law in both Mississippi and Tennessee and regularly practices in all levels of state courts throughout Mississippi and Tennessee along with all federal district and bankruptcy courts in the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi and the Western and Middle Districts of Tennessee. Mr. Palmertree has been an invited speaker on multiple legal topics including foreclosures, lender liability issues, curing title defects, utilizing surveys in real estate litigation and other real estate related matters. He is an active member of many legal organizations such as the Mississippi Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, Mississippi Bankruptcy Conference, National Bankruptcy Institute, and DeSoto County Bar Association. He has also served on the Mississippi Bar Association Leadership Committee and been a volunteer for the Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project. Mr. Palmertree is also active in a number of local civic and charitable organizations. He has served either as a director or board attorney for the Hernando Main Street Chamber of Commerce, West Tennessee Animal Rescue, and the Unknown Child Foundation, among others.
