Amarette Hope Aubé Speights, Esq., originally from Seminary, Mississippi, received her BA from the University of Mississippi in Political Science with a minor in Engineering. In 2014, she graduated from Mississippi College School of Law where she was certain she was going to be a constitutional law scholar and took the nerdiest classes. Amarette has worked as a Legal Extern in Gov. Phil Bryant’s Office, as a Research Assistant for Professor Matt Steffey, and as a Law Clerk for the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

As an attorney, Amarette realized a practical profession might be wiser than a constitutional law scholar, and started her real estate practice at Herr Law Firm, formerly O’Neal Law Firm, in Madison, MS. In August of 2017, she moved to Tupelo, MS and opened Speights Law Firm.

She currently has her office in Tupelo, a satellite office in Corinth, MS, and 5 wonderful employees. Amarette is very involved in her community. She is a

Amarette is married to Ryan Speights of Oak Grove, MS, a physician at NMMC. They have two children, Atticus Speights, born 6 weeks before moving to Tupelo, and Georgiana “Georgie” Speights, a sweet Covid 2019 baby. In her spare time, she enjoys playing the piano, cooking, reading, and trying to become famous on TikTok.
