Michael McKay, Assistant State Manager for the Security Title Guarantee Corporation of Baltimore, will provide the attendee with an introduction to the various types of surveys and things to watch and check while reviewing surveys.

Michael McKay is Assistant State Manager for the Security Title Guarantee Corporation of Baltimore. Prior to joining Security Title’s Mississippi team, Mike practiced law for 41 years. His private practice involved all aspects of title examination and certification, commercial and residential real estate closings, and the litigation of title issues. Mike received his undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi in 1980 and his law degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1983. After completing law school, he served a one year term as Research Assistant to Presiding Justice Harry G. Walker of the Mississippi Supreme Court. Over the years, Mike has been a frequent speaker at title insurance and continuing legal education seminars.
