Introduction to Mississippi Title Examination Standards

This course covers the Mississippi Title Examination Standards (the “Standards“). The purpose of this course is to provide an introduction to the Standards, review the component parts of the Standards, and discuss selected Standards. The Standards become effective in Mississippi on August 1, 2019.

Upon completion of the course, you should be able to:

• Have a general understanding of the need for title examination standards;
• Identify the component parts of a title examination standards; and
• Understand how to apply certain title examination standards.
