08. Surveys – New and Existing

This course will be cover the ins-and-outs of surveys, both commercial and residential. It will discuss, in detail, the optional Table A items that accompany the new 2016 surveying standards and how to select the appropriate items based on the coverages requested by the customer. The instructor will perform a very detailed “survey read” into a commitment, using a complicated commercial survey. Finally, the course will conclude with an overview of the various ALTA title policies (and endorsements) and how survey coverage can be provided in each.
