Member Highlight – Agent: Melissa Love

Introducing Melissa Breazeale Love, one of our newest LTAMS members, but one definitely not new to our industry. With her vibrant personality and extensive expertise, Melissa has become a cornerstone in the Mississippi real estate community. As the Manager of Title Links, LLC in Hattiesburg, she leads with precision and passion, ensuring every detail is meticulously handled. Her role here is the culmination of over two decades of experience in real estate, title abstracting, and paralegal work, showcasing her invaluable adaptability and dedication to the industry.

A native of Lamar County, Melissa began her career in 1993 at Magnolia Federal Bank in Hattiesburg, transitioning into Magna Mortgage as a Correspondent Mortgage Loan Closer. She currently holds multiple roles, serving as the Lamar County District 3 Election Commissioner, Secretary of the Lamar County Historical Society, and a member of the Purvis Street Festival Committee. Additionally, she is the co-owner of Johnny’s café in Purvis, further testament to her entrepreneurial spirit.

Melissa’s journey into real estate law was unconventional, sparked by a pause in her college education due to her father’s illness. This break allowed her to gain invaluable skills through hands-on experience across various positions, making her a sought-after resource for attorneys and industry professionals seeking training in the intricate art of title research. When asked about her favorite aspect of her work, Melissa shared, “Putting all the puzzle pieces together with title work and helping others to solve any issues that may need to be addressed.” Her ability to piece together complex title puzzles brings her immense satisfaction and underscores her dedication to resolving challenges for her clients.

Throughout her career, she has learned the importance of organization, time management, and treating every client with the utmost respect. “ All deals are important, and all people are treated as if they are my family, because they are someone’s family and deserve the best,” she reflects. Her genuine approach to every interaction highlights her commitment to treating each client with the care and respect they deserve, making her not only a skilled professional but a trusted confidante in the real estate community.

Her community presence is marked by accessibility and a welcoming atmosphere, with her business known for its “at home” feeling and meticulous attention to detail. Among her many achievements, owning her own title company stands as a pinnacle of her career, built upon years of learning and experience. Her unique encounters in the business, such as a client dancing shoeless in a parking lot after a courthouse visit, highlight the colorful tapestry of her professional life.

Outside of work, she is a devoted family woman, married for over 24 years with three children and grandchildren. Her passion extends to supporting those in need, particularly the elderly and veterans, and advocating for individuals with special needs, inspired by her son. “I am always willing to help anyone, especially the less fortunate, the elderly and veterans, in any way possible. When I fall, I get up and keep going. I always try to be a positive influence on people every day everywhere I go,” she shares.

She finds joy in helping others, attending church, engaging in community events, and exploring antique shops. “Every day is interesting and lived to the fullest,” she states, embracing the vibrancy of life. Her positive influence is felt by all who meet her, as she strives to bring smiles and foster new friendships and ideas.

If you are ever in the Hattiesburg area, Melissa invites you to stop by for a chat over coffee and experience firsthand the warmth and wisdom of this remarkable member. Her journey is a testament to resilience, faith, and the power of community connections
