Member Highlight – Agent Staff: Tina Hurst

Tina Hurst is a seasoned real estate professional with nearly four decades of experience in abstracting and title work. She graduated in 2015 from the Patterson School of Accountancy at the University of Mississippi. Tina began her career in 1986 with Donald Downs as an abstractor and later joined Jimmy Fisher in 1999, where she dedicated 24 years as an escrow officer, closer, and abstractor. Tina’s work spans various aspects of real estate, including closings, abstracts, and escrow accounting.

Tina’s dedication to helping Veterans and first-time homebuyers through the process of securing a good title brings her the most satisfaction in her work. A stickler for detail, she believes in the importance of title insurance, detailed plats, and reputable surveys to protect clients’ investments. Tina is also proud to work in Tupelo, a vibrant and growing community, where she enjoys the unique atmosphere of an all-female office environment.

Her career accomplishments include successfully building a real estate business from the ground up, achieving certification, and establishing a title insurance agency within her first six months at a new position. Outside of work, Tina has been married to Mike Hurst for 40 years, with whom she has three children and three grandchildren. She rides her own Harley as the Road Captain for the American Legion Riders, dedicating much of her free time to supporting Veterans across Mississippi.

As an active member of the American Legion Family, Tina has held numerous local, district, and state positions in the American Legion Auxiliary and became the first Auxiliary member to lead the Mississippi chapter of the American Legion Riders. Recently, she was appointed to the Board of Directors for the Memphis Blues Drum Corps, where she once participated in her youth.
