The presentation will address current fraud-based issues/trends resulting in frequent title claim submissions. The presentation will provide sample title claim fact patterns, characteristics or red flags, and tips for avoidance or detection for each of the issues. The presentation will also provide suggestions on what to do if an agent/attorney is presented with any of the issues discussed during the presentation.

About Instructor

Justin Davis

Justin is Senior Claims Counsel and Lead for the Southeast Region of Stewart Title Guaranty Company’s Claims Department, covering Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama, and Mississippi. Prior to moving in house, Justin’s practice included being retained as outside counsel to resolve title claims through litigation or curative efforts, general real estate litigation, and residential and commercial transactions. Justin obtained his Juris Doctor from Stetson University, College of Law, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing from Florida State University.
